By downloading, installing, or using Paradise ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
Paradise is an AI-powered nutrition coaching and health journal app that helps you track food intake, log health data, and receive personalized nutrition guidance. The app uses artificial intelligence to analyze food entries and provide coaching.
Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a password to use the app
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding
Subscriptions and Payments
- Paradise offers a free tier with limited features and premium subscriptions
- Premium plans include: Monthly ($6.99/month), Annual ($49.99/year), and Lifetime ($79.99 one-time)
- New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial
- Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and your device's app store
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
AI-Powered Features
- Paradise uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to analyze food entries, estimate nutritional content, and provide coaching
- AI-generated nutrition estimates are approximations and may not be perfectly accurate
- The app does not provide medical advice. AI coaching is for informational and motivational purposes only
- Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes
- AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
Not Medical Advice
Paradise is a wellness and nutrition tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided by the app, including AI coaching responses, calorie estimates, and macro calculations, should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a medical condition, eating disorder, or dietary restrictions, consult your doctor before using this app.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems or bots to access the app
Your Data
- You retain ownership of all data you input into the app
- You can export your food log data at any time
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Profile screen
- Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy
Intellectual Property
The Paradise app, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Paradise and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paradise and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages from inaccurate nutritional estimates, AI coaching responses, or data loss.
Service Availability
- We strive to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice
- We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your data through the Profile screen.
